
Micro and small enterprises in Bulgaria, which are
registered a decrease of at least 20% in their turnover for April 2020 compared to the average monthly turnover for 2019, will
have the opportunity to receive amounts from BGN 3,000 to 10,000 thousand free of charge
financial help. The Managing Authority of the Operational Program “Innovation and
Competitiveness ”2014-2020 (MA of OPIC) plans to announce on May 11, 2020
d. project selection procedure “Support to micro and small enterprises for
overcoming the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic ‘. The procedure
allows the following cost categories:
Costs for the purchase of raw materials;
External service costs (including overheads);
Staff costs (incl. Remuneration and costs of
social security and health contributions at the expense of the employer, excluding of costs
for staff assisted under measure 60/40).
The total amount of the grant is BGN 173 million and
covers all sectors of the Bulgarian economy (except those that are
supported by the Rural Development Program). The application will be
performed entirely electronically through the UMIS 2020 system with maximum relief
administrative procedure. Project proposals will be funded
meet the evaluation criteria, in the order of their receipt, to
exhaustion of the financial resource under the procedure. The submitted project
proposals for which there is no financial resource are not subject to evaluation.
