Svetlin Iliev, an expert in the Union for Business Initiative ( SSI ), was elected chairman of the Committee for Support of SMEs – Cyber Security Consumers at the European cybersecurity organization ( ECSO ). The organization has existed since 2016 and is a privileged partner of the European Commission on issues related to cybersecurity and digitalization. Its members are representatives from all member states of the European Union. For the first time a Bulgarian, in the person of Svetlin Iliev, holds a key position, and his personal goal is to meet and support small and medium-sized businesses on the topic of cybersecurity.
“It is a great honor and privilege for me to be part of the ECSO team and to lead this very important working group. Small and medium enterprises are the backbone of the economy not only in Bulgaria but also in all countries of the European Union, and the growing cyber threats make the topic of cybersecurity extremely important for their future development “- commented Svetlin Iliev.

Since 2020, Svetlin Iliev has been part of the expert team on cybersecurity and digitalization of the Union for Business Initiative ( SSI ), a member of the National Council for Tripartite cooperation ,. Svetlin Iliev is also chairman of the Bulgarian Cyber Security Association .
